Timecard Support

Timecard: Simple Punch Clock for iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac.

Timecard does one thing: it records when you start and stop work, and shows your hours and pay for the current pay period. No accounts, no setup beyond your hourly rate.

Getting started

Punch in and out
Tap Start when you begin, Stop when you finish. Times snap to a 5-minute grid: a start rounds back to the previous mark, a stop rounds forward to the next one. Change the grid or turn it off under Settings → Pay → Round durations.
Forgot to punch in?
Tap "Start at…" to begin from an earlier time, or "Fix start…" while running. Tap any entry to nudge its start or stop by one grid step, or edit it fully.
Yesterday or any other day
Add on the Clock or History screen lets you enter a complete past entry.
Pay
Settings → Pay: hourly rate and currency. Settings → Pay period: monthly, weekly or every two weeks, and the day it starts. Pay Periods lists every period with hours and amount.
Export
History → Export writes a CSV with one line per day: date, hours, decimal hours, amount.

Siri

Say "Punch in with Timecard", "Punch out with Timecard", "Punch in at a time with Timecard" (Siri asks for the time), or "Am I punched in with Timecard". These work on iPhone and Apple Watch. Open the app once after installing so Siri learns the phrases.

Apple Watch

The watch app has Start, Stop and a crown editor for the start and stop time, plus the period total. To add the complication, long-press the watch face → Edit → choose Timecard. The ring shows today's hours as a share of 12 and is green while you are punched in.

Syncing between devices

Entries sync through your iCloud account. If a device does not show the others' entries: check it is signed in to the same Apple ID with iCloud Drive on, then open Settings → Sync in the app and tap Refresh now. Sync usually takes seconds; after a reinstall it can take a minute.

Mac

Timecard for Mac is a separate download, not on the Mac App Store: Download for Mac (zip, about 1.5 MB). Unzip it, drag Work Clock to Applications and open it. It is notarized by Apple, so it opens without warnings. Sign in to the same iCloud account as your iPhone and your entries appear. The Mac syncs while the app is open. To update, download again and replace the app; your data is in iCloud and stays.

Integrations

Settings → Integrations can connect Timecard to Acroprint timeQplus so a pay period's punches are written to your time card there. It needs a small service installed on the computer that runs timeQplus. If your company uses timeQplus and wants this, write to the address below for the service and instructions.
